Xbox won’t open anything again!

For me it just says "Something went wrong. Try your gamer tag again" and won’t do anything. Even trying it online doesn’t work. Won’t let me confirm that I want to change it.

This did not work for me. This is what I see when I open the store on my xbox one x.

You can try a few things to see if that resolves the issue. First off, please try turning off your console by holding the on/off button for 10 seconds until the console turns off and unplug it from the power outlet for at least 30 seconds and then plug it back in and check if the problem persists.

If the problem continues, and since the Microsoft Store does not work independently like other apps since it is part of the Xbox console operating system, you will need to restore your Xbox while keeping your games and apps.

You can do it by going to:

Settings > System > Console info > Reset console > Reset and keep my games & apps.

Your console will be reconfigured and you will have to add your account again, so it is important that you know the emails and passwords for your accounts before proceeding. No game or app will be deleted, nor will you lose the progress of any game.

The Microsoft Store should be reinstalled during this process and this should solve the issue this time.

Hi so I checked the link and the steps didn’t help. My problem has gotten worse, and the Xbox refuses to do almost anything. I fixed the download problem by restarting, but it kept stopping after 10%. The game itself is installed, but not all the episodes.
I tried opening the game, and I got to the screen before the opening screen and it kept freezing. It just won’t run anything, and I’m not sure what to do.

You won’t lose anything because everything is saved to the Xbox Drive
