Xbox won't log in to the app on PC, but does on physical xbox

Thanks for the idea, but it didn't seem to work. I did it exactly to your words but now its just registering the Xbox app as installed, but I can't access it through settings or Cortana search. If it helps narrow it down any, when I open the Xbox SmartGlass
app, and try to log in, nothing happens there either. Also, Microsoft/Xbox related apps aren't updating in the Microsoft store either. If you have any further idea I'd appreciate it! Thank you so much

• Have you tried to uninstall/re-install the Xbox App?
  

I recommend to try the following: Windows App Troubleshooter.

If the issue persist, Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:

• 1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

• 2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

• 3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
  *xboxapp*| Remove-AppxPackage

• 4. Hit Enter.

Once the PC is restarted I suggest re-installing the Xbox App. Here is how:

• 1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

• 2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

• 3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp*| Remove-AppxPackage

• 4. Hit Enter.

• 5. Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

Give this a try and let us know the results.

Is this the new app they recently updated or the older one?

If you buy it digitally you can play it on both the Xbox One or the Windows 10 PC. It won't be through the XBox App on the PC, it'll be through it's own app (kinda like Forza or Killer Instinct).

If you buy a physical copy you can only play it on the Xbox One.

Hi, thank you for the help, but i'm on pc and not on an xbox. I already tried to log off and then log on to my xbxox account through the xbox app but the game still does the same.
