  1. Xbox won't load anything

i turn it on and it goes to the green screen, then takes 10 to 15 min. to load just a few home screen tiles. If I try to sign in it freezes before the options even show up and eventually gives the "this took to long
to load" error. If I click on anything else it does the same thing and will eventually just go to a black screen unable to load home screen at all. I have hard reset multiple times, unplugged everything, I have great internet connection, no interrupted updates.
Roommates xbox works fine plugged into my wires. Was running fine last night. Any thoughts or ideas or anything helps. Thanks

This is the same thread from a couple years back but this is still an ongoing problem. Any help on what to do would be appreciated!

We've already tried: 8-10 second reset. Unplugging the entire system and leaving for 5 minutes. When its on it seems to load in the apps over the space of 3 hours, but the games still didn't load in (and doesn't react
when selected, apart from crashing). Can't open the settings, can only access guide but can't navigate to anything through it.

    :)

    Xbox won't load anything

    Before anything try this:

    1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

    3. Press and hold the BIND (controller sync button located on the left side of the console or bottom right if a one S or one X) and the EJECT button and then just press the Xbox button on the console once.

    4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

    7. To reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, use the D-pad and A button on your controller to select Reset this Xbox.

    9. When prompted, select Keep games and apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.
I have just tried this a few seconds ago and I have an error that says: "System Error: E102 00000C12 80070002" and I have the following options: Restart this xbox or Troubleshoot

    Hello RebelLicense969 👋

Are you still having the same problem with it yet ? & I see someone also selected they have the same problem.

May I ask what happened the last time your Xbox was fully functioning ?

    Thank you

Hi SkellieShooter, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

There is a big chance that the External hard drive is corrupted which may have caused the issue.

Please perform a powercycle then check if your games and apps will now be visible, in the meantime please unplug the External hard drive as well.

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Once your games are all backup, please try to launch them and make sure that the hard drive is still unplugged. If it works, you can then try to insert the hard drive to check if it will work or not.

    Hi,

Sounds like an issue with the hdd or motherboard… Try a full factory reset, if console still takes 10 minutes to boot > repair
