    Xbox won't load after start up screen


    My xbox one s won't work. When I turn it on it would start the green xbox loading screen where it just shows the Xbox one logo but when it's done loading it just puts up a gray screen. I could press the Xbox home button but it would make the screen more of a light gray color. The thing is I could hold down my xbox home button and it would give me the 3 options to restart xbox, turn off xbox, or turn off controller. I just wanted to know if anyone knows how to get rid of the gray screen when it's done loading the start up. Also last night it was working fine so can anyone give me any tips on how to fix this?

    Console freezing upon start up

    No luck still. Xbox is in a well ventilated area, no game in it, and it still won't load (though, the 2nd to last time I tried to start it, it was able to load all the way through the white start-up screen but then immediately cut to a green screen).

    not sure if this is the same thing but. mine loads up the game but won't sync to xbox live so it just keeps going back to the start screen of the game. doesn't matter what game it is. and it seems to be related to the new update because it started doing
    this after i updated.

    Hi ThomasDion, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    In this case, we just need to reset your console keeping your games and apps through the Xbox Troubleshooter page. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Make sure to follow the steps accordingly to access it:

    1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

    2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

    4. Press and hold the Pair button (located on the left side of the console) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    5. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

    When the console powers up, you will see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. Please click on "Reset this Xbox" then "Reset and keep my games and apps".
