    Xbox won't let me change my gamertag


    I have $25 in my account to change my gamertag. For some reason when I go to accept the gamertag I want it says "Sorry, something went wrong. Try your gamertag again." I try over and over again but it still doesn't work, I try different gamertag names, I restarted my console, I waited for over 7hrs to see if it fixed itself, and I even used the website to try and chnage it but nothing seems to work. What could be the problem?

    I left Preview Alpha, did a factory restart, ran through setup, then tried to change my GT and succeeded. I am using an Xbox One X.

    they announced 30 minutes ago the issue was resolved, they actually fixed it about an hour ago, you didnt need to reset the console as it was an issue on their side.
    Yep it’s fixed! Just worked for me.
