    Xbox won't launch


    New to this so hoping its in the right place!? My xbox one suddenly does not want to boot.It either:-

    1. Stays on green xbox one screen, then goes blank.

    2. Comes on as black screen and stays that way.

    3. On the rare occurence that the home screen does come on, it wont let me launch anything. Everything attempts to launch but then jumps back to home screen.

    I've tried power cycle numerous times, no luck. I've also tried update via usb, but still no luck.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Won't launch?

    My minecraft (on another friend's account) stopped working so I deleted then redownloaded it and when I try to launch it I get the error code 0x00000005. Any resolutions? Nothing I'm doing seems to work

    Xbox games won't launch

    Hi. Please press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds to do a hard reset. Turn the console on and try again.

    If that didn't work please navigate to the game under my games and apps and press the menu button and scroll down to saved data and select to delete all locally saved data. Your saved data will sync from the cloud once you open the game again

    I won't be buying the new Xbox at launch, and probably won't for quite some time after... Maybe 6 months, maybe a year, I don't know exactly. All I do know is that I have way too many games to play, both retail and XBLA. I know I won't be finished with them
    by the time the new Xbox launches, but oh well.

    That's definitely an odd issue. If you have the games on an external drive try moving them to the internal. You could also try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds till it shuts down then unplug it and let it sit for 5 minutes to see
    if that helps.
