Xbox wont install the world updates to microsoft flight simulator properly

Hello,

I have recently seen there is a new update to the game, and wanted to install it. On the download manager for xbox, it said it was downloading 11 GB. When that finished i entered the game, and it was not installed. I went to the marketplace ingame, and it said it was not installed. I wish to install it through the xbox, not through the marketplace. What do i do? the game is on a disk, but i also have game pass

Did that. I decided to try reinstallation of the software. Will update after that

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

I did that. but once i entered the game it said it wasnt installed

If you have already installed it on Xbox itself it may mean that there is a required update inside the game as well. If it's prompting you to do so it would be best to proceed.
