    Xbox won't install disc


    I have installed xbox games via disc previously (it's been a while though). When I put the titanfall 2 disc in I am not given a prompt to install it, it is also not under my ready to install. I have already tried switching my powermode to energy saver, did
    a hard reset, and cleared the local cache none of these things have worked. What can I do to fix this ?

    Fallout new Vegas ultimate won't install

    today June 11th 2017 I bought the Xbox one fallout new Vegas ultimate edition and after I insert the disc it says this game can't be installed. Help I've inserted disc one and disc two and it won't let me install..the icon says install disc but won't let

    My game isn’t downloading and I tried all of the trouble shooting methods I found online.

    Xbox one console sucks. Won't install games from discs. Installation stops half-way through the process.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    As I have checked, the Destiny 1 that was on Xbox 360 is not a backward-compatible game. There is a version for Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S which is why you're getting the error.

    If it is not installing correctly from your disc, the disc is definitely broken. remove the current install and try reinstall with the same disc.

    If it can't finish the instal, the disc is damaged and won't work.

    Instaling doesn't include all files and it still relies on the game disc to some degree.

    Great Question,

    They wont automatically start installing but they will appear in Ready to Install next to Games (Digital) If it is a Disc you wont see them until you put the Actual disc into the Xbox (Disc)

    The new games are on discs. So am I right in saying I should be ok to install them on the new xbox, and if I don't insert the disc on the old (home) xbox, they won't show up as ready to install?
