    Xbox won't get past veryfing update stage


    Hi,

    I got an update for my xbox one x yesterdaya once it gets to the veryfing stage it gets stuck at 10%.

    I've tried everything, hold power button for 10 seconds to turn off completely, start up console by holding eject and sync button to factory reset, taking power plug out for 30 seconds, rebooting internet.

    After trying all of the mentioned above I still can't past 10% when the update is veryfing. Do I need to get my console sent off for repair?

    It has been fine and its only a few months old.

    I've solved it! I had to wait for almost an hour until the veryfing part to fail. After I just hit retry and it actually installed the update again instead of skipping and going to veryfing stage. Once it it installed again the verification part went through
    smoothly.

    If you have a Windows 10 computer, you might want to consider filing a report via the

    Windows 10 Xbox Insider Hub app     so the developers recieve your notification, but your best location to talk about remediation is at the
    Xbox Insiders Subreddit and see if others are having the same issue or have solutions. That is the best place for troubleshooting that issue, since others there are in the same
    build ring as you, where this is mostly for production released issues that we can follow normal troubleshooting steps that might not apply on the more volatile Insider Builds.
