Xbox won't get past preparing console screen - help

Discus and support Xbox won't get past preparing console screen - help in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; I was in the middle of playing a game when I got a notification on screen that local saves had an issue and I should clear my cache and resync saves...     Xbox won't get past preparing console screen - help


    I was in the middle of playing a game when I got a notification on screen that local saves had an issue and I should clear my cache and resync saves with the cloud. When I clicked clear local saved games, the screen went grey, party chat etc. cut out. Screen eventually went black then nothing.

    When I tried turning the console back on it flickered briefly the restart/troubleshoot screen.

    I managed to get the troubleshoot menu up by holding the pair/eject buttons. From here I have tried:

    - restoring to factory settings; gets to 7% then crashes with error 106

    -performing an offline system update; gets to 1% then fails with error code 101

    -hard reseting the console; give error code 102.



    I have also tried the above with router turned off, with different usb sticks, after leaving console unplugged for over an hour, removing console from preview program using insider app on windows.



    I think I was in the beta ring for insider updates. No idea where to go from here. My one x went out of warranty in Jan and costs £240ish to do an exchange (may as well source a cheap 2nd hand one until the series X in that case).



    If anyone has any insight into other things I could try please let me know.

    Have tried it and still won't load. It gets to the preparing console screen then comes up with something went wrong

    XBOX UPDATE STUCK ON "Preparing console" HELP

    I updated the xbox and its been stuck on preparing console ~ at 80% (for 5-6 hours!), then the electricity in our hole apartment-complex was fallen out(!).. - I am lucky at all ;-(

    Now, it won't boot past the green Xbox logo screen anymore!

    So, WHAT´ S TO DO? - Still tried the "OSUDT2" (-> but "contact support"). - PLEASE NO hardware reset!! :.(
