Xbox won't "forget" old router! Help!

So I had to replace my ATT router (black Netgear 7550) with the same model. With it comes a new Network name. My Xbox pulls up the old name by default. When I click "Y" to disconnect it won't go away. I tried accessing the new router (it shows up), but when
I go to log in the Xbox makes me try to log in to the old router name anyway. I called ATT and they tried and said to call Xbox. I called Xbox and they said call ATT. I even reset the network settings and it still won't "forget" the old router.

So what gives??

Yes that is a incredibly limited view but dang it, we should fix our own country instead of maintaining other stagnant countries.

Hey there, I can only suggest resetting the consoles network settings back to the default;

Restore Network Defaults

1. Press the Guide Button on your controller, go to Settings.

2. Select System Settings then Network Settings.

3. Select Wired Network or your wireless network when displayed.

4. Select Configure Network then Additional Settings tab.

5. Select Restore to Factory Defaults then confirm when prompted.

Hopefully that will get rid of the old information and only pick up the new, if you still see the old network information, I'd say there is something you need to do with the home network.

 

Didn't work. The old network still shows up.
