    Xbox Won't Download large file games


    My Xbox has been able to download apps and demos perfectly fine. But when its a large file game like Red Dead Redemption 2 (100+ GB) FIFA 20 (44 GB), NBA 2K20, (84 GB) at first the installation would begin perfectly fine, but then at some point, the MBPS
    decreases fast and it stops completely. I checked with my internet service provider and they said my internet didn't have a data cap.

    So far I've tried:

    • Using wired network
    • Using my 5G network
    • Hard resetting
    • Offline System Update
    • Factory resetting and choosing the 'Keep Games and Apps' option
    • Factory resetting and choosing the 'Remove Everything' option

    None of these options work. Any help would be very appreciated

    Yeah, I've seen that I'm not alone. I haven't touched my UPnP settings... I'll give that a shot. I just tried a different Xbox HDD (250gb) and still no luck, still stopping at 31%. Also, my connection is DSL. Thanks for the input. At this point, I'll try
    almost anything.

    The glitchy thing has been pretty weird. I've been dealing with it since yesterday. Some people have reported it and it should be being looked into by forum support.

    When you DMZed, did you turn off UPnP? I've been told that is required. At least disable and reenable to clear and UPnP table flooding.

    Formatted... but have you tried a different storage device? Like a flash drive?

    Could be static on the line with a cable internet connection. If you have a coaxial cable, unscrew it from your modem/gateway's end, touch the tip to discharge any static and *** it back in. Because some people would do this with everything ON... Make sure
    you powercycle: xbox off. Router off, modem off. Coaxial cable and then slow progression (modem, router, console) back on.

    Greetings, Hellcrone. Very sorry you're unable to download games. It seems like you've tried a lot of different troubleshooting steps thus far. If I understand correctly, it looks like you are using a wireless connection. Is that correct? Can you do me a
    favor and try connecting your console directly to the modem and let me know if you see any change? Keep me posted! :)

    Clear everything on the browsers cache to fix this issue. That's what I had to do.
