Xbox wont download anything

Recently My person of PC gamepass has stopped downloading anything. existing downloads are stuck at weird amounts like 4 and 13% while any new downloads just don't start. Attempting to cancel or pause any of these downloads leaves it stuck in a pausing or cancelling loop that never gets resolved. This issue has persisted though multiple reinstallations of the xbox app., restarting the computer, clearing and resetting the data of the app, logging in and our of the app and all other troubleshooting methods I've found.

There is also the separate issue of every time I launch a game getting a copy of DesktopWindowXamlSource and GamingServicesUI.exe launching . The game won't actually launch until I manually kill the program via task manager and even then some games will just not boot, or boot and soft lock. This has also persisted though all the troubleshooting methods I've gone though. Any assistance in resolving this problem would be a great help.

Nothing changed. I still have an install queue thats stuck on a 'checking for updates' loop and never actually downloads anything. I've uninstalled and reinstalled microsoft gaming services multiple times and each has done nothing. Any other advice you can give?

Sorry to hear about what happened. Let's see what we can do about that here.

May I exactly know what other steps have you tried so far? Have you already tried to reinstall your Gaming Services app? If not yet, follow the steps below:

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
Restart your device and try to install the game again.

Don't forget to check for Windows updates and get all available updates from the Microsoft Store.

Is this for digital and disc games that you're trying to install?

Also, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause these issues as well.

I just want to confirm, may I know which platform device are you playing the game, is it on Windows PC or Xbox console?

Also, does the download error occurs in other games as well or just specifically for Minecraft?
