    Xbox wont display video


    When I turn on my Xbox it starts with a pixelated screen and flashes different colors every time. I can't watch netflix, bluray (DVD ok), twitch etc. I can hear audio and the video is a glitchy green screen.

    It was like this the second I unboxed it. Didn't want it to get "fix" because they'd only send me a completely different one that'd have even worse problems.

    Earlier today and yesterday I was playing xbox and I was at my dads house and it was working fine, I left to go back to my moms house and set my xbox and turned it on and noticed I couldnt find the right video channel? I took out the cable and noticed the
    plug in was bent a little and my friend said he had an extra one so I went to get it, plugged it into my xbox and still doesnt work. When I turn it on I still sign into my profile and everything, I even had a friend send me an invite to a party and pressed
    the middle button then A and joined and could talk to him. Anyone know whats wrong, is it my xbox AV port thats busted or what?

    Have you tried resetting your video settings by pressing (Y) + RT?

    My One is on but it isn't displaying on my TV?

    Yeah man.. Awesome. Great.. Now it wont even display on my TV. It just says no signal as the console isn't coming through video.

    This is why I moved to Playstation a few years ago.

    this is how to play movies using windows 7, dont think it will be much different using windows 8.

    Make sure you have the xbox video app d/loaded on your xbox one and go on to it.

    Open windows media player on your pc and find the movie you want to play.(must be avi/mp4 format)

    Right click and go on "play to" and it should display your xbox click this.

    You can still play/ pause etc using the controller or voice control.

    just make sure you are on the xbox video app on your xbox or the "play to" wont display on your pc

    unplug the power from the xbox console, and then plug it back in, press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds so it loads up in a basic display mode and see if the display appears
