    Xbox wont dashboard out of games - what to do?


    Hello All, as your aware from reading this, my Xbox is having problems dash boarding out of games,

    I noticed it first when i went to check a message i received from one of my friends this morning; it literally stayed in game the whole time until i switched to the smart glass app thinking i could use the controls; completely unresponsive. i proceeded to
    restart the Xbox and to check for a controller update, (which there was) checked again and the problem was still prevalent. Now I'm stuck in games without the option to dash board out with the only option of shutting the system down to switch between games.

    Now I'm not pointing fingers but between my friends and I, it seems that the new OS for Xbox has a few bugs to be worked out. as i I said before I'm not pointing fingers this could be a hardware issue and could be completely unrelated but between multiple
    mic issues, party chat issues and now dash board issues somethings up and i hope the wizards at Microsoft can fix it soon!

    dashboard wont load

    My Xbox 360 slim wont load the dashboard. I update some games today and then put in lego lord of the ring and it told me the game was unreadable but I was playing it an hour before I connected to live so I turned it off took it off line and now my controllers
    wont sync or even connect to my xbox and it wont load to the dashboard so I cant do anything I have no controllers connecting game wont work all I can see is the xbox logo what can I do please help do I need to connect it back to live or what

    Every time I try to play a game it automatically sign's me out of Xbox Live and wont let me reconnect. But when I go back to dashboard it reconnects automatically.

    Dashboard out, I understand how to do that on the 360 but since the XB1 doesn't really dashboard out of a game but instead suspend the game whats the solution for a XB1 console off?

    This is true what you didnt understand is

    One only on new games it wont show and dashboard

    2 until older games are updated to recognize the new unecode names you will have the suffix ingame not the dashboard

    Hello, sad to say it wont let you et the new promo out. Its no way of know what promo will show on your dashboard. Sometimes I wait to see what might come up. The same with games. Seems like I ALWAYS buy a game then it gets put on gamepass.
