Xbox wont connect via N900 adapter

What Country/State/Province do you live in? Alberta, Canada

Modem brand & model number: cisco DP3825 (in bridge mode, so I can use my router.)

Router brand & model number: ASUS N66U

Wired or wireless: xbox wired.

Things you have tried: plugged N900 into my laptop, did intial setup as network adapter. turned wifi off on my laptop and had an internet connection via LAN. When I plug the Ethernet cable into the XBOX ONE I get no connection. XBOX says plug in an
thernet cable or set up wireless connection.

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown yes

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? don't get far enough.

Any Error Codes you encounter: none

Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider): Shaw Cable

In my opinion the tests I have done tell me the adapter and cable function, but its something on the xbox side that is wonky, is my port damaged? ive never used it before, so I cant confirm it did ever work.

Was it the official Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller? For the Xbox 360 wireless controller, an adapter is required. For Xbox One, the original Xbox One controller will only work when wired. For the One S controller, you can connect it via bluetooth.

Update: solved. The chatpad wont work via Bluetooth-connection. You'll need to buy the official microsoft wireless adapter. Now everything works perfekt.

There is some indication that a TW tech can put the Arris in bridge mode or that you can do it yourself by logging in immediately after resetting it to defaults:

Alternatively, see if TW will provide a modem only or buy your own (cheaper than leasing in long run and gives you more control). Failing that, assuming you can configure port forwarding, DMZ, etc. on the Arris, you have a couple options. First, with the
Arris connected to the WAN port of the N900, you could try putting the WAN IP of your N900 (this should be a private IP received from the Arris over DHCP) in the DMZ on the Arris (delete any other forwards on the Arris). Do all port forwarding and DHCP as
usual on the N900. Or, second, you should be able to use the N900 as just a switch + wireless access point (bypass NAT routing) by disabling DHCP on the N900 and connecting the Arris to a LAN port on the N900 rather than to the WAN port. All NAT, port forwarding,
and DHCP would then be provided by the Arris.

Personally, I would just get a modem only, such as the Motorola 6141 (if supported by TW).

I thought that the adapters are chat adapters. Connecting TB's via Toslink will give you the audio on the Xbox One. Just no chat.
