Xbox won't connect to Xbox Network

My Series X console says it's connected to the Internet in the settings but when I'm on the homepage it says I'm offline. When I try to check my connection, it doesn't move past the "Checking Connection" screen. I've already reset both the router and console and nothing seems to help. Any ideas?

The Xbox is connect to the network, and the network is connected to the internet, but the internet won't connect to Xbox Live. I have tried both the USB and the CD/DVD but neither of them are working

Because those aren't used trough Xbox live, that's completely normal, the only thing you won't be able to do in the console is connect to the Xbox network, and only the things that need Xbox Network to work won't be available

I checked with my roommate and apparently our service is undergoing maintenance until tomorrow morning. I hadn't thought to check my other systems to see if they had the same issue but sure enough my switch isn't connecting either. Hopefully it'll work come morning when maintenance is over

Sorry to hear you are having issues with network on your Xbox. Have you tried connecting to a different network such as a mobile hotspot and see if it connects without any issues? If that works, you know to look at your other network settings/router.
