Xbox won't connect to XBL....already tried pretty much all the solutions?

For 3 and a half years I've used a bridge connection with my pc to get online, most of those years on windows 7, for the past 2 months I've been connecting fine on Windows 8.1 too. It even worked fine yesterday. All of a sudden today no matter WHAT I try
out of the "solutions" online, nothing works. It keeps saying the router isn't giving the Xbox an IP.

I've reset the router

Gave my PC a static connection (idk if that would help but I tried)

Change the Xbox 360 network settings to a manual IP and that didn't work....put it back to automatic now. It's been fine for 3 and a half years running everything on automatic.....and everything else works, my pcs, cellphones, other pc's and phones in the
house. So what gives.....could the xbox 360 enternet port be messed up? I mean it detects it being a "wired" network...

I even forwarded the ports for XBL, although for the lifetime I've been online I've never "needed" to do that.

In short, honestly from the research I've done, I think the xbox is broke. I've done everything on my end I can do. Yes "allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection" is checked in the ip4 properties....it was working
perfectly fine yesterday. I'm at my wit's end and this ruined playing with my friends tonight.

Can anybody help? Leaves a sour taste in my mouth...I just bought a year of XBL the other day too >_> and then this happens >_>

EA rep said to try this for "can't connect to EA games" errors...

Im getting "YOUR GAMER PROFILE DOES NOT HAVE THE CORRECT FUNCTIONALITY TO CONNECT TO XBOX LIVE"thing is im already signed in to xbl ,tried all the above but no luck.Mofo's wanna spoil my day.D'know what to do now.

 

Connecting to XBL and DNS issues

I can't connect to XBL. It connected fine last night. I have connected directly through the modem and it connects to the internet but won't connect to XBL. When testing the connection through the xbox one it tells me "it's all good" and that I'm connected
to the internet but it won't connect to XBL. Trouble shooting through the support forums and through the xbox one utility resolves nothing. Also attempting to connect through my wired router gives me the "DNS isn't resolving xbox server names" error. Any help
would be appreciated.

 

it won't let me edit anymore...but.....all of a sudden I tried and it works?

What gives?....the 360 ip is set to automatic, my pc is still a static. I've even tried right clicking the wifi and ethernet and making a bridge connection and that didn't work earlier (most of the time I've been doing this I never needed to "combine" the
connections, it just worked with changing the ipv4 sharing options and having everything on automatic)

I literally spent all night on this, I turned the xbox off and on again...for......over the 10th time and now magically it works? >_>
