Xbox won’t connect to wi-fi

Hello There ! would you please perform the steps mentioned on the link bellow to troubleshoot the issue :

I tried but the problem is that it worked one time yesterday, so I don’t think it is about my flow rate, plus the 4G on my phone has 15mbits/s where I am, and it still didn’t work on my phone hotspot.

I can’t perform any tests on the console since it’s not connected to the Internet.

Yeah, a power surge could totally mess up the network adapter in your Xbox Series X. It’s probably fried the Wi-Fi or Ethernet parts inside, which might explain why it’s not connecting properly, even if it can still spot the Wi-Fi signal.

When you say it “finds” the Wi-Fi but won’t connect, what exactly happens? Does it give you an error, or does it just keep trying and eventually give up?

I tried unplugging the cable while the xbox is off and wile I was still connected to xbox live but then it says I do have cable plugged in and won’t let me use my Wi-Fi. I tried setting it back to factory settings. i rebooted my router . Unfortunately I
can’t remember a little things I tried

The Wi-Fi will not work without the cable.

Wen testing the connation the little symbol for Wi-Fi switches to the cable symbol and back.

If you are attempting to connect to wi-fi, you need the password for that wi-fi. If you are trying to connect to wi-fi that is not password protected, you need to have access to the modem itself, as you need to reset the modem or the xbox will not recognize
it.
