Xbox won't connect to the internet

My Xbox won't let me connect to Xbox Live. I've signed into my account, but can't get into Xbox Live or anything else that would require an internet connection. I'm getting the error code 0x800704cf. I've already tried restarting my modem and my Xbox, none
of which helped. In the "Set up network" portion of the settings, my Xbox is showing my wifi network, but it won't let me connect even though I've got the correct password.

My internet in the house works fine on everything except my xbox, it won't connect to the internet i have tried everything on the site, could it be that my xbox is broken? it picks up the network I'm trying to connect but won't connect

The Xbox is connect to the network, and the network is connected to the internet, but the internet won't connect to Xbox Live. I have tried both the USB and the CD/DVD but neither of them are working

You will need to determine the error messages you are getting from either the network connection or the multiplayer connection by doing the steps below.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select General.

Select Network.

Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.

On the right side of the Network

Please test both the network connection and the multiplayer connection.
