Xbox won’t connect to streaming apps or games

Xbox turns on. But wont connect immediately. And when it does connect i still cant run anything involving internet. I know my wifi’s fine because i can stream from my smart tv, and from my phone off the wifi, so its strictly the xbox

You may have to rest your xbox. Pick the option not to lose you apps and games.

Doing so may put you in a position where you need to recover your gamertag, and your connection "is all good" but will not complete the process of recovery. Idk tbh I seen it happened to someone else. From when you unplug your router on is resetting your
internets connection with your xbox, giving it new ip, so u possibly could just do that maybe idk. Why the unnecessary risk though... I mean right?

I got you bud just spent like 8 straight hours figuring this out. Now I cannot promise it's permanent but mine did exactly that but first input signal went out everything was black...

Follow these steps:

1: turn on xbox& remove disc from drive if applicable

2:go to settings/ account_settings/ remove account, select the "infected account"

3: once removed HOLD power button on console until it powers down *10 seconds*

4:unplug the power cord from xbox to drain the power reserve, simultaneously unplug/hard reset your internet router/modem *it's crucial these are reset and powered off at the same time for at least a minute, I waited like 5*

5:start router, once internet is available plug in your console

6: HOLD power button on console for 5 secs(cold-boot)

7:SIMULTANEOUSLY HOLD power and eject buttons on console for 10 seconds (you'll hear a beep immediately, continue to hold until a second beep is heard) this will start your console in low resolution mode. (6-7 no time frame)

8: if not auto connected, connect to internet then go to profile select and recover your gamertag with add new

9:ERASE HULU(this part I haven't done because I lack the credentials to access the subscription again but should work for you and is simple)

10: Call Hulu customer service and ask them to remotely sign you out of the account.

11: reinstall and keep your freakin fingers crossed when you launch the app(might not hurt to clean your cache before reinstall)

The only good thing out of this situation was after performing the low res boot for some reason gave me another resolution option @ 1440p which was not there before, I don't know why but it did. I forgot to mention after that low res boot, you have to go
settings, display, resolution and pick your desired settings.. That should do it though, I really hope this helps. Good luck and God speed ladies and gentleman. 2✌DUECES✌2

*UPDATE*

Screen is still staying on after opening the *infected* hulu app, getting the BSOD and restarting normally. Meaning I lost my picture entirely and was able to restart normally AND STILL HAVE PICTURE, DASHBOARD, AND INTERNET CONNECTION I can actually access.
Not just a bunch of basically hollow apps I cannot access, even though the internet connection text said "it's all good". (Spoiler alert: it wasn't all good.)

-I gave up calling tech support when they told me they couldn't help me recover my gamertag with all the DLC for BO1 BO2 BORDERLANDS 1&2 n many others.(probably a couple hundred dollars of DLC at the time.) They couldn't even help me with my disc read error,
a mechanical issue that should've been much easier to fix than hardware or software... idk I think calling them is nothing but a waste of time. Sorry I blew up your thread lol. I have one question though if you don't mind and read this much if it 😅😂did you
