: Xbox wont connect to my mic after a year?

Ive called the support team three times. I've just been going in circles. Why would I pay for something that won't work. I can only sit on hold for so long.

i got too lazy to read the forum past page 1. i wanted to share my experience by saying that im having the same problem as everybody else. BUT, now my mic wont even stay connected even if i connect it in the dashboard (i have the black microsoft one with
bluetooth). it will be fine for a few minutes but then i notice that people will be talking and i cant hear them. when i look at my mic i see the rings flashing as if it is trying to connect. when i press the power button to choose what player the mic is assigned
to it wont connect back to me (1st player) as if the wireless controller is taking the mics place already. make sense? please get back to me if anybody else has experienced this problem.

So like how come my xbox wont connect to the internet but everything is connects to it. Plus it is saying that the connection wont work. This all started after the update yesterday. What should i do?

My controller is connecting, but my mic isn't. my mic is a standard Xbox One mic.
