Xbox won't connect to hdmi

Discus and support Xbox won't connect to hdmi in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I've had this issue all year.     Xbox won't connect to hdmi


    I've had this issue all year. Fixed it about 15 times by reseting the display settings by holding eject/power blah blah blah. This time its not working at all, wont let me reset it. i really need some help with this, I've checked everything obvious like
    the right channel and hdmi out port so no dumb questions please. Hdmi cable works, the tv works I can connect my laptop via hdmi to it...need to know if my power brick or even the console itself is broken. Don't really know what to do about it, any advice
    is appreciated.

    Xbox one won't connect to HDMI anymore

    So I believe my console overheated, because I had my Xbox 360 on top of it. So that might be the cause of the freezing. But that doesn't explain why the TV won't recognize the Xbox HDMI

    Hey there, Pro!

    I'm sorry to see any display issues! It is possible that the HDMI port on the console has failed and that's why the TV isn't recognizing it. To be sure, you've tried another port on your TV, correct?

    If so, the next step is to try a new HDMI cable. Lastly, you'll want to see if you can try the console on another TV.

    If all of those fail, then you will want to get your console repaired. You can do that through our
    Device Support page.

    Hey there MagicNinja03

    I cannot tell if the console is broken or not since the screen isn't displaying correctly. I understand you said the Tv and HDMI work but i just want too know have you tried a different Tv or HDMI and does the Tv run 1080p? Is the console brand new or refurbished
    can you give me a description on it's condition. Lets also try a power cycle in just in case.

    Well, found this too: If you're using an HDMI connection between the Xbox 360 and the TV, it might be that. When using HDMI, the Xbox won't boot up until it knows what the TV is capable of displaying. Although the controller will turn the console on, it
    won't sync with the console -- and it's not a controller or console problem, but just a symptom of the fact that the Xbox won't get to the point where controllers will sync until it can properly communicate with the TV. I'd recommend turning off the TV and
    the Xbox, disconnecting the HDMI cable and re-connecting it after making sure the contacts are clean. Then turn the Xbox back on first; you'll likely to see the same behavior. Finally, turn the TV back on. With it being switched back into HDMI mode, it just
    might "kick-start" the Xbox into a good communication link across HDMI.

    Question: Will any HDMI cable work for the Xbox One?

    What cable should I go buy from best buy. My Xbox one won't work with my hdmi. It connects sloppy. TV won't work as it blinks a black screen with no sound. also my connect won't recon is voice commands like pause or play or channel change. Thanks

    It sounds like theres something wrong inside the xbox

    I had a similar problem with my old xbox, couldnt turn it on and when it did, it just turned off after 10secs
