Xbox won't auto update anymore

So after the last update i did a hard reset by changing power option topiwer saving mode but i reverted afterwards back to instant on. Now the problem is even when instant on is selected it doesn't auto update anymore and it just hard resets everytime
like it's still in power saving mode

Disc games don't autoplay anymore after latest update

Hi,

After the latest system update on my xbox one s, my game disc don't auto play anymore, i have to launch then manually by pressing the controller button, anyone else having the same issue with game disc not auto playing anymore?

Anyone make a tall piston elevator that works reliably?

The minecart "elevator" doesn't work on xbox anymore after the update they did in april, I had one and after the update ladders and signs won't hold the cart in place anymore they just slide right though it.

Go to Settings>Power&Startup and verify it is still set to Instant On. Also, you will want to make sure that the following are ticked: Wake up Xbox by saying "Xbox On"; Automatically download updates and purchases.

Also bear in mind it will only auto-update overnight.

Everything is set like that but i noticed it only goes in instant on mode when saying xbox off but when i panually turn the xbox off it won't go in instant on mode after last upfate

Interesting. What about when you use the controller or touch (not press) the power button on the console? Pressing the power button on the console's front for a few seconds will turn it completely off (equivalent to Energy Saving).

Are you in the update previews or not?

With the controller it also turns off completely seems i'm stuck to using voice commands for using the instant on feature. Well hope they'll fix this with the next update

Are you in the preview programme? If so, this should go in the Early Access forums so the team can be made aware of this issue. It's not something I've heard of before.

yeah i'm in the preview program, it's been like since the previous update not the one i got like a day or 2 ago. I'll go post it also in those forums tomorrow

There is already an auto-update option. If you put the console into 'instant-on' mode you won't see game updates, you won't even see console updates.

The auto record can be annoying. But what is bothering me the most is my "record that" feature won't record the sound anymore. Makes the clips much less interesting to me, especially on my battlefield clips.

if you have it set to auto update, you won't get a notification pop up. instead, what you'll see is a notification in your Notifications with the game tile there and a "Launch" option. that's how it works for people that have auto update enabled.

Hi, I'm having an issue with the update but on my sister's pc not my xbox. My xbox update to the 1.19.2 version but my sisters pc won't so we can't play together anymore.
