Xbox Won't allow me to play games I already own.

My Xbox randomly stopped allowing me to play any of my already installed games. After continuously trying to remedy the situation I came to the solution, it's called a "soft reset" i.e you don't lose all your games like a "hard reset" rather you just reset
the internal info from your xbox. This includes your xbox's date and time, your location and your profiles. All your information is regularly backed up to your xbox profile so you won't lose your progress to any games. however you will need your sign in
information due to the fact that it will be deleted! Step 1: Settings, Step 2: system, Step 3: Console info, Step 4: Reset console, (it is very important you follow step 5 perfectly or you will end up Factory resetting your Xbox) Step 5: Reset and keep
my games & apps. Confirm that you want it done and the screen should go grey and "power down". The system will reboot and prepare itself for the initial setup in which you'll have to enter all the necessary credentials for your personal xbox as well as add
your account. You will be asked if you'd like to restore the settings you had or manually setup new ones. Purely out of fear the same corruption would arrive from reinstating the old settings I personally chose manual setup and even with moderate internet
I was immediately able to download all the games I previously owned.
