    Over the past 13 years, I have owned only xbox consoles. Over the past 13 years, I have had the pleasure of having my original xbox, my xbox 360, and now my xbox one replaced or repaired within the warranty period (xbox 360 more than once). Technically,
    this is the second time work will be done on my xbox one as I had to send in the kinect earlier this year. This time I got to choose between paying $15 for the expedited swap (by swap I mean an unknown "certified" console for my known and well cared for
    console) plus the $415 hold on my credit card or being without a console for three or so weeks. Awesome choice. Really glad I had to make it. I think I may have finally learned my lesson when it comes to microsoft hardware build quality.

    Hello all, Can somone help me.? Yes a wos trying to download Fable3, Yes a em gold member. Also a wos trying to clear Cache and delete market file,and restarted my xbox, but the code still pop up.

    I never understand why people get mad at this? You pay 15 to get your console earlier, or you can wait a little longer to get your console repaired.

    15 is for the expedited shipping for the console...Microsoft is making no money from this, its just an extra option. Makes no sense. I think more people would be happy if this option was actually taken away.

  5. I am more upset that for me, microsoft has had a 100% failure rate with three generations of consoles, not that I have to pay $15 to get a console (i stress a console because it won't be my console that I end up with under that option. there is no guarantee
    that the one I will receive was cared for like mine has been). I have no one to blame but myself for making the decision to stick with xbox. It is just disappointing.

  6. And i would add that I have no complaints about the customer service rep that I spoke to yesterday. She did all she could to help me out.

    Hey quick question for you. Is your console placed vertically or horizontally? The console needs to be placed horizontally to actually function properly. I do hope this helps

    Xbox ones are still new. They will only get better as time passes. They are aware of the massive inconvenience of the credit card hold. Things are only changing for the better with xbox. I also have been there and suffered but the good far out ways the
    bad. When its all said and done, we are supporting American products and a American company. Dont lose faith my friend

    Well I guess you can say I have had a 0% failure rate with Xbox consoles, original xbox still works, 360 elite still works and X1 still works, never sent in. My PS3 how ever had a defective HDD and I had to pay to send the console in just to replace the
    stupid drive. Yea I know, I should have just replaced it myself.

    Sony has the same issues. It's not just a Microsoft issue. Technology has always had failure rates just look at TV's, phones, toasters, washing machines etc nothing is 100% full proof.
