Xbox without WiFi

I’ve bought a new xbox one x and i’ll be spending the next year without wifi (only 4g) and i looked around on the internet and i see something like you can’t play without wifi. I’m going to play some rdr2 far cry2 and other offline games. Do i really need
wifi for that? (I don’t need achievements)

It has been my experience that most games need a large update on day one. Not sure you will need those updates to play offline but definitely something to consider.

You can put the disk into the Xbox and it will install the game. You will be playing the version of the game that came on the disc. So if there are any patches that fix game bugs, you wouldn't have access to that.

Some games require you to be online at all times. Be sure to check the Game case to see if it requires online/Xbox Live Gold to play. Even games that you think should be considered "Single Player" might have an online component that you can't ignore so
it requires to be online.

I believe that if the installation was already done with the console offline, you can play without problems, unless the game needs a correction patch right away.
