    Xbox wireless stereo headset


    I have recently purchased the Xbox wireless headset. I use it on Xbox one.

    My friends say that the mic quality is pretty bad in party chat. Like I’m talking underwater or in a cup.

    When I record my voice through a voice message and play it back, it sounds perfectly fine. When I use it in a call on my phone, it sounds perfectly fine to the recipient.

    My headset version is 0.0.9.24. It’s up to date.

    Any ideas?

    I would recommend the official Xbox brand stereo headset as it claims to be compatible with all xbox one wireless controllers:

    It probably doesn't need the stereo headset adapter - but if you're going to buy this headset, better just buy the stereo headset adapter to get your other headsets, that you already own, to work properly

    Keep getting disconnected from xbox live.

    Wireless? Do you happen to have a MadKatz or Turtle Beach wireless stereo headset ? Don't worry about single-ear headsets but the stereo headsets from some makers can interfere with WiFi wireless. If you do have one of those, then please unplug it from the
    Xbox console and see if the disconnects go away.
