Xbox Wireless Headset - Volume Wheel feels more loose than mic wheel !?

    Hello,

I have just bought a new xbox wireless headset. Everything is perfect except that the volume wheel on the earcup feels looser than the wheel where the microphone is attached.

I am not sure if this is 100% right . Is this how the headset was built ? Is this on purpose ?

    Thank you very much

    :)

Xbox Wireless Headset - Volume Wheel feels more loose than mic wheel !?

    Hello @!

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums! Since everything works just perfect with the headset, then it lust be just a glitch. In this case we'd recommend trying to reset your device and see if the issue persists.
Thank you for the quick reply, however it has nothing to do with resetting or glitches.

I am talking about the volume wheel and how it is engineered. When I try to adjust the volume, the volume wheel feels more loose than the other side (where the mic is). I just want to make sure this is normal behaviour.

    Wireless Speed Wheel Warning!

I'm loving the wireless speed wheel now. I totally feel dialed in. The only negatives are the lack of a headset jack so I have to use a wireless mic or a Kinect and the lack of bumper buttons.

    Headset not working

    Hello ese2320,

Is there a volume wheel on one of the ear pieces of the headset? Because on the wireless version headset there is, and the chat volume is separated from it. Check that, because it could be all the way down.

Proprietary wireless tech cause of faults since update.

Fanatec wheels connect wirelessly, no different to a wireless mic or controller.... The point is its the wireless, not the wheels..

Seeing as the wireless is being interrupted, causing the freezing/microstutter it seems logical to conclude that the same interruption is what causes the wheel feedback to be fed wrong/paused creating the issue until you reboot the wheel.
