Xbox wireless headset volume issue

Is there a volume wheel on one of the ear pieces of the headset? Because on the wireless version headset there is, and the chat volume is separated from it. Check that, because it could be all the way down.

There are options such as the PDP Afterglow AG +9 Headset that are in fact wireless and have a really long battery life, and they are made designed for console use. Even have a mute button, volume for game and party volume.

Are you using a wired or wireless headset? Some wireless headsets have this feature built in to them and therefore the setting will not show on the Xbox One. You can also check on your Xbox One under Settings>General>Volume & Audio Output.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. With third party headsets, there may be compatibility issues. As one is evident you are unable to adjust the volume. You could try a

stereo headset adapter, this plugs into the controller differently, then the headset will plug into them. The update you are showing is for the controller not the headsets. If they are wireless headsets you will want to get with the manufacturer on how
to update the firmware of the headset.
