  1. Xbox Wireless Headset TERRIBLE

What an utter piece of garbage this headset is, OVERLY expensive and constantly breaking. Everytime I enter a party it doesnt recognize the microphone at all, turning it on and off and on and off and on and off does nothing. If by some miracle it does recognize the microphone, the party chat keeps muting it and telling me to adjust the volume, meaning I have to turn it on and off AGAIN! Refund NOW

    :)

    Hello,

Refunds aren't offered here, best thing is to talk to the place you brought it from and get a refund through that.

    Best regards,

I'm Samy an independent advisor. Welcome to the Xbox community. How are you?

Sorry to hear that, mate. But you have to talk to the store where you bought the device. If you purchased from the Microsoft Store, this link has instructions for you to do this.

Xbox Just Cant Seem To Get It Right Can They? =]

I actually like this dash way more, it also fixed some terrible wireless headset issues.

Mac OS Driver for Xbox Wireless Adapter to connect Xbox Wireless Headset

I use a Macbook Pro 16 with Intel Hardware. The problem is, that the Bitrate for Bluetooth is not enough. You have 16 Bit for recieve and send data. The Sounds are terrible, when you use both channels. The Xbox Wireless Adapter can use a higher bandwith and you have clear sound and voice. That is the difference between bluetooth and the xbox wireless adapter. I have the problem with all Bluetooth headsets. The Bluetooth standard is not intended for listening and speaking. That's why other manufacturs use an usb-adapter to connect Headsets with the mac or other systems like Linux or Windows. The basic idea was, to use the xbox wireless headset for phone calls over a VOIP Software on Mac. Now I need two different wireless headsets.

    Here you go.

Please note that you still need to plug them into your controller.

Not at all helpful in answering the question.
There are few truly wireless headsets compatible with Xbox One. Turtle Beach Stealth 600 & 700 series connect directly without any wires. You simply pair the headset just like a controller by pressing the sync button on the Xbox One & the device.

The majority of "wireless" headsets will require a 3.5mm cord to be plugged into the bottom of your controller. Which is terribly disappointing, especially for people like me that have spent decent money on a "wireless" headset for the Xbox.

I hope Microsoft adds more support for wireless devices with future updates.
