  1. Xbox wireless headset standby timing

    Hi,

recently purchased the new Xbox wireless headset, and in general, I'm very happy with them (great value!).

However, the auto power off function is driving me nuts.

I regularly use the headset on my PC when following instructional videos, but pause audio when switching between the videos and code interaction.

The auto off feature seems set on way too low a time value, is there some way of adjusting this to a custom setting?

I've looked through the XBox accessories app, but to no avail.

Thanks in advance for your help

    :)

I have the same issue. The stand-by timer is too short and I cannot find a way to change it.

    Hi,

Sorry, but none of the above contains an answer to my issue

I require a way to change to auto power off time delay on the headphones

Currently, if the headset receives no audio signal for around 5 minutes, they turn off - for me, this is too short a time and if possible, I would like to increase the auto off time

I don't think you can..I can't find anything anywhere on the 'net. Think it might be an energy efficiency thing with it turning off automatically ...a lot of people have complained about the Turtle Beach WIreless headsets being the same. Only solution to it seems to be, when you aren't actively using it, play some music through the headset as that will stop the auto-off

Is the headset switched to Xbox mode? The new Microsoft bluetooth/xbox wireless headsets work in either bluetooth or xbox mode, but not both at the same time. You need to make sure it's in Xbox mode to pair it with your Xbox console.
