Xbox Wireless Headset notifications too loud

Hey,

I have a question about the Xbox wireless headset (newest version).

Is there a way to lower the notification volume, like the start-up/ turn-off sound and low battery notification sound?

And how loud should this notification be? To make sure it is not just my headset.

Hello Douglas, I did a little checking both on the console, and on the PC with the Xbox Accessories App, and unfortunately there is no way to download the volume of notifications from the headset.

However in Windows you can disable the sound of some notification if you wish.

Most people want to get sound output for their headsets. The single ear headsets i do miss but are more for just chat and produce an echo when the tv is too loud. I find the wireless turtle beach headsets, while expensive are amazing.

and I don't think they are able to fix this....

Too bad this is not mentioned in any of the online reviews......

If you are using a headset with no physical volume control it might be too loud. What headset are you using? Try using the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter that SGTxJEFFSKYLION suggested.
