    Xbox Wireless Headset Mixer out of sync with Series X


    Latest preview update in Group Delta. The Xbox Wireless headset mixed is horrible out of the sync with the console. On launch by default the console will have the party volume max, despite the headset mixer being in the neutral position and requires for a full reset in order for it to be fixed or for the headset to be turned on and off numerous times.

    I’ve only had the headset for a 2 months max and it’s been working fine up until most recently. Is anyone else facing this issue?

    Turtle beach headset not working.

    Contact turtle beach prrsonally I didnt get a dongle one but the new v 2 headsets which are much better

    They sync automatically thanks to windows sonic and xbox wireless even works with x series

    Sorry it took so long to reply but in the mean time I did all the steps in the link provided and the headset chat mixer is still greyed out

    As for the questions the problem started 3 days ago, the chat mixer was working before, no changes were made prior to the issue, and I am using the Xbox series x

    Are you using a wireless headset like Astro A50? If so then you have to use the physical chat mixer that is built in to the headset as the console guide chat mixer will be greyed out.

    I understand you about the xbox license.

    I rather not want to have a wireless headset because I dont like charging and the battery life will decrease over time. So that leave me with two options:
    1. Wired, 3.5mm into the Xbox series x controller
    2. Wired, usb, into the Xbox series X

    I checked the microsoft store and there are only 2 compatible series X headsets. Both wireles.

    Do you know any wired Xbox series X headset? That is compatible with the series x? I prefer USB but have to go 3.5mm otherwise.
