    Xbox wireless headset mic monitoring too quiet


    Hi, I have the new xbox wireless headset, and in the sound menu i have the mic monitoring volume slider all the way to the right (max volume) and I can barely hear myself talk. I tend to shout when i'm using headphones when i can't hear myself talk. Is there a way to increase mic monitoring volume?

    I upgraded to their wireless headset over Christmas, and mic monitoring is working on that device.

    I am now assuming the wired mic monitoring has a limitation due to the lack of power or something similar.

    Anyways, wanted to share with everyone. If you want mic monitoring you can hear, upgrade to the wireless model!
