Xbox Wireless Headset keeps disconnecting and reconnecting with Xbox Series X in 120hz...

My headset repeatedly losing connection when the video mode is set to 120hz(on 60hz headset is working as expected). Sometimes for a second or two, sometimes pernamently (then when I open accesories settings there is no haedset on the list).

To get back the sound I need to turn off and turn on the headset.

My TV is LG OLED C9

    What I did so far:

    - update headset's firmware

    - cleared the headset’s pairing info

    - reset to factory settings my xbox

    - reset to factory settings the haedset's

    - tried with all sound audio formats from uncompressed to dolby atmos

    - turned off wi-fi router

    - tried with VRR video settings turned off

    :)

[PC] Xbox Wireless Headset + Dolby Atmos = Audio Stuttering

Same issue on Xbox series X with xbox wireless headset. DTS encoder works just fine, dolby lets my headset disconnect and reconnect continuously. It’s unusable. I don’t think the problem is with your receiver, try DTS and see what happens.

If you already tried updating and resetting the headset and still encounter the disconnection issues, I recommend requesting a replacement here: Device service and repair
I will try, but I'm worry it is not a headset issue as they working ok with my xbox one and with other devices over bluetooth. I have the issue only when I set 120hz display refreash rate

Xbox Wireless Headset keeps disconnecting and reconnecting with Xbox Series X in 120hz video mode

Just got an update for series x and xbox wireless headset (0.0.9.22) i'm not an insider. And it seems that disconnecting problem was finally fixed! i've experienced sound cut outs and disconnections too often and the worst case was fh 4. I've been playing for an hour after update and haven't experienced any issues. Before the update i can't even play 10 minutes without issues. Also it seems they reduced bass in headset so i can use standart game preset.

    • Known issue: If you're using a 4K@120Hz TV that also supports VRR you might encounter no signal or a corrupted image when the Xbox is configured for 4K120+VRR. This issue occurs with various TVs from LG, Samsung, or Vizio.
    • Workaround:
      • Update to the latest firmware on your TV
      • If the issue persists, also consider trying the following:
        • Configure the console for 4K/60 with VRR by going to Settings> General > TV & display options > Video Modes. Check the box for Allow variable refresh rate.
        • Configure the console for 4K/120 with no VRR by going to Settings > General > TV & display options > Video Modes. Uncheck the box for Allow variable refresh rate. The resolution and refresh rates are found under Display in TV & Display options.
        • If you wish to experience 120hz and VRR, configure for 1080p/120hz VRR or 1440p/120hz VRR by going to Settings > General > TV & display options > Video Modes. Check the box for Allow variable refresh rate. The resolution and refresh rates are found under Display in TV & Display options.
      • If you're experiencing a corrupted image, try these workarounds to revert back to a safe video mode:
        • Restart your console and configure your video modes to one of the options listed above.
        • If you're still experiencing a corrupted image after restart, disable VRR on the TV. Consult your TV manufacture's manual on how to do this.
        • If the issue still persists after steps 1 and 2, perform the video mode reset sequence to get back to a safe state and configure for one of the two options above. To do this, follow these steps under Your screen is blank after you turn on the console > Reset your display settings."
