    Xbox 360 Bluetooth Headset problem

All who complains about the hissing noise every headset does that as in the regular wired mic just not as loud. Secondly the beeping noise when u put it on mute is to remind u that u have it on mute like any other Xbox wireless mic @_@

Xbox Wireless Headset - hissing noise

Hello kemalis, I hope everything is going well!

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support!

If you’re hearing unexpected sounds in the headset, first exit to your console or device’s Home screen to see if the sounds are coming specifically from the game. You should also check to see if there’s a firmware update available. If this doesn’t correct the problem, try restarting both devices. You can also go into headset settings and select Restore to default to reset the headset Equalizer levels.

I wish you a lovely day, and I hope this helps you out!

    Kind Regards

    Stay safe, and happy gaming!

I can also confirm the hissing noise as well. It's absolutely ridiculous. Can they not release a decent headset?

    Turtle Beach PX5 or XP500?

There's a new Astro, the A50. Wireless. It integrates the wireless functions from the MixAmp 5.8 remote into the headset itself. Should ship sometime in July.

I've personally tried the Turtle Beach X41 (wireless), the Tritton AX Pro (wired), the Astro A40 (wired and wireless via MixAmp 5.8) and the Astro A30. The Turtle Beach X41 hissed and popped, loudly. The Tritton AX Pros hissed a bit. The Astros have virtualy
no hiss and the wireless does not hiss or pop. The A40s are the most comfortable for me. They're over the ear. The A30s are on-ear, and while they don't hurt I prefer the feel of over the ear to on the ear.

If you're going wireless, I would suggest avoiding the 2.4Ghz band. Astros run on the 5.8Ghz band.

@PlayerXXX-I can also confirm the presence of the "hissing" noise. It is very annoying and I am considering returning it. Mine is a MW3 headset btw. I also went through 8 of the older wireless headsets so I guess I should have known better. I honestly
sat there in Best Buy looking at it on the shelf thinking, should I go down this road again? I've come to the conclusion the all of M$ hardware should be viewed as a disposable product. Kinda like a tooth brush.
