    Xbox Wireless Headset Frozen


    Hi there, I cant seem to find any documentation or support regarding this, but my Xbox Wireless Headset has completely frozen, and stuck in a powered on state. I cannot press any of the buttons, holding the power button, mute button , anything has no effect. I cannot pair the headset nor when i plug it in does anything happen, it just has completely frozen.

    I cant find any way of turning it off, rebooting it or resetting it. Is there any support around this? or is it just possibly dead?

    I am waiting for the battery to die in hope that it might work after that, but im kind of worried that it just completely dead.

    I recommend trying again after the battery dies, if the headset is still frozen, you might want to create a replacement request here:

    Windows 10 use requires Bluetooth 4.2+, Xbox Wireless adapter or compatible USB-C cable. Each sold separately, explaining why both the adapter and cable weren't included with the headset.

    anyone help me my wireless headset is stuck on port 2 and wont sync to port 1

    Turn off and disconnect all controllers from the Xbox 360 and disconnect the wireless headsets from the controllers.

    Connect the wireless headset to the Xbox 360 using the USB cable. Turn on the wireless headset.

    Sync the headset to quadrant 1 by pressing the "Connect" button on the on the Xbox 360. Then press the "Connect" button on the wireless headset for two seconds. Do not continue to press the "Connect" button on the wireless headset, as this will change the
    quadrant to which it is connected. If the headset now works without the controllers attached, the problem must be with one of your controllers. If the headset still does not work, then the problem is with the headset.
