Xbox Wireless Headset - Additional Configuration

    Hi!

Posting to see if this is of interest to others.

I would really love a configuration option to control the volume of a game and the secondary connect (phone bluetooth).

The multiple connections make the headset perfect for in-game sound paired with discord to chat with your cross platform friends where the ingame chat often cuts in and out through menus and loading screens.

    Thanks!

    :)

    Hello aspireCA,

Thank you for reaching out to the Xbox Forums. You can indeed connect your Xbox Wireless Headset to the Xbox wireless adapter for audio and chatting in a party.

You can learn more about setting up and configuring your Xbox Wireless Headset here: Set up and configure your Xbox Wireless Headset | Xbox Support

If you have any other questions or issues, please feel free to make a new thread.

    Regards,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the headset. According to the Turtle Beach page https://www.turtlebeach.com/products/stealth-600-headset-xbox-one?variant=7763423592492 the
headset can be used with compatible Windows 10 PC's and may need an Xbox wireless adapter for Windows.

    XBOX WIRELESS

Xbox Wireless provides you with a best-in-class wireless gaming audio experience on Xbox One (and compatible Windows 10** PCs) by letting you connect your headset directly to your Xbox One without an adapter, the same way
your Xbox One wireless controller connects to the console. Xbox Wireless automatically configures the headset’s connection, so just turn-on the headset and start playing. **May require Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows (not included).

Do you use a wireless headset (e.g Turtle Beach)?

Could you try move the console as close to the router as possible.

Try disable the wireless security completely on your router (as a temporary solution) to see if it improves anything.

Restore your Xbox network to factory defaults. Go to network settings and select Configure Network. Slide to the Additional Settings tab and select Restore network settings to factory defaults. Reconfigure Xbox wireless settings.

Also, make sure your wireless gateway is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware.

    Keep us posted!
