XBOX Wireless Controller View Button Issue

I recently upgraded from the original XBOX ONE to the XBOX ONE S Digital. Is anyone else having issues with the view button on the new generation white XBOX Wireless Controller? The view button does not work at all on the new gen controller. However, the
view button works on the controller supplied with the original XBOX ONE. I have tested this with multiple new generation controllers and always have the same issue.

When checking the firmware for the installed controllers, it's up to date, however, when I check console streaming settings, it says "Controller firmware: Until our next update, some buttons might not work as expected."

I assume this is in regard to the view button not working?

Why do I seem to be the only person experiencing this?

I cannot find any other threads on this. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, and I apologise if this has been dealt with in other Q&A's

I am currently using one of those lets say new controllers but i am not having any issue. Except for the quality of materials, because it is breaking after a few months of usage

Just to clarify he / she is press the Xbox home button to join or the View and menu button.

If they are pressing the Home button to join then it'll bring you to the xbox one home. Please make sure that they press the View and menu button simultaneously to open the Xbox guide menu / Accept invitations.
