    Xbox Wireless Controller started disconnecting last week whenever a game is launched


    I've been using the same Xbox wireless controller for a few months now with no issues, pairing with my computers Bluetooth. Last week, when I would launch a game the Xbox button would start flashing and then never connect again. I looked around and found
    that I couldn't remove the controller from my system due to a separate Microsoft issue with Windows 10, but I was able to get that resolved. I updated the controller using Microsoft accessories and resynced it, but it again un-syncs (and won't re-sync) as
    soon as I launch any game not just a Game Pass game. Anyone else having this issue, or have figured out a way to resolve it?

    Got a similar problem, it just started about a week ago for me. Had a solid connection on my wireless for a long time, now it doesn't seem to work at all. Get disconnected whenever I put in a game.

    I have the same problem, whenever I am using an online connection for a game, my wireless connections just randomly drops, could be as quick as 1 minute or as long as 45 minutes. Also my controller disconnects along with my wireless connection.

    I've been an Xbox owner since the launch of Xbox 360 but after 3 controller problems in 6 months with the xbox one I just canceled my Xbox live membership and decided to go to a different brand for now and probably next Gen as well. Cheaper to buy a used
    PS4 than a new controller every 8 weeks.

    First two had thumbstick issues after a couple of months. The 3rd and most recent controller I bought started disconnecting after a couple of weeks. It takes half an hour of constant reconnecting to get it to stay connected and will not stay connected more
    than 1-2 days. Wireless, usb, new batteries all same results.

    My Xbox 360 controllers still work just fine.
