Xbox wireless controller not working well on Android

After collecting all data from your question , it seems like there's connectivity issue , so basic problem and solution are :

1) First make sure your controller is updated , if it's not then proceed to update it using Xbox Accessories app.

if there's any update available ,you'll see a notification there .

2) Make sure you device (phone) isn't connected to any other Bluetooth device when you're connecting your device to your Xbox controller , there might be some interference of Bluetooth signals . you can also make sure that there's no other Bluetooth devices around you .

3) One of the most common solution is to reset your phone networking settings this also includes clearing your previous Bluetooth pairing list on your device .

4) After doing all of this step just restart your Xbox controller and Phone and try to connect again.

5) Make sure your controller is charged sometimes this problem occurs cause of low battery in controller .

In minor cases, there also can be a Hardware in your controller , in that case contact Xbox Support .

I only have one wireless controller, and one bluetooth controller unfortunately. The bluetooth controller works on all devices.

I purchased the wireless xbox one controller for the pc when it first release support for the PC. Years later, I purchased the bluetooth controller dedicated to use on my laptop when I'm on the move.

These days, I primarily use my bluetooth gamepad on my android tablet for android games, but I recently subscribe to Ultimate Game Pass to play on my tablet.

Unlike the Xbox One controller which can be both wireless and wired, the wireless 360 controller only operates via wireless. The connector for the USB - or the 'Play and charge' - cable only sends power, not controller input data. Also the wireless protocol
it uses is proprietary, in other words, it's not Bluetooth.

You can use an wireless 360 controller on a PC, but you'll need an Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver attached to your PC.

The wireless 360 controllers do not work with Android, but the wired ones do.

Xbox 360 controllers don't use Bluetooth, they have their own wireless protocol that Android phones can not use. The only way to use a 360 controller on an Android phone would be via a USB cable.
