  1. Xbox Wireless Controller Input Lag

I bought a new Xbox One from Best Buy (The Division - White - 500 GB Bundle) and a separate Xbox One branded wireless controller. Recently, there's been a lot of input lag. I'm not sure why or if there's anything I can do to make it better. I've reduced
clutter (electronic and otherwise) around the Xbox, checked the wires going in and out of the console for signs of damage or wear, and I'm basically stuck there. Any advice would help! Sincerely, Frustrated Gamer

    :)

Buying new controller. Wired or Wireless? [Help]

Even for fighting games i go wireless. The only time i go wired is when i am recharging my controller. If there is such a lag of input for the controllers, i really never noticed it.

Do you play wireless or do you plug the controller in your console?

If you watch MLG tournaments, you'll notice that the pros plug the controller in.

The reason is there is no input lag. Another reason why it's better to plug that controller in

is that you don't have to worry about the battery life.

I've got my Xbox in the living room. I don't like to have that long wire to my Xbox.

The input lag is sometimes noticable in FPS's.

My question is wether you play wireless or plug the controller into your console.

  4. Xbox Wireless Controller Input Lag

Hey so the XB1 controller does have a bit of input delay. If it's really bad for you one thing I could suggest that would help is a micro usb to usb cord. They're pretty cheap. You plug the smaller end into the top of the controller and the main usb into
one of the usb ports on the back. That will eliminate all controller lag. They're used in MLG tournaments on all consoles. Hope this helped.

In addition to what Templar has suggested, check too see if the controller has any sort of update and perform a power cycle on the console, that should reduce any lag a bit.

    What's the Best Xbox Controller?

Pro players want no lag whatsoever using wireless controllers. You did know that right. No input loss.

Although I don't feel an input lag when I use wireless. But yeah, I've read that the pro's demand wired control.

    Elite Controller Input Lag

This is interesting. Do u happen to know if while playing wired, the elite controler has the same input lag as a normal wired controller? Or does it continue being a wireless operation, but is charging?
