xbox wireless controller, driver error

so today i was trying to connect my xbox controller to my laptop (ideapad-S145-15API is the name of it) and it wouldnt connect . i tried connecting my usb cable from my computer to my controller, switching the battery sides, and even getting new batteries but it keeps saying driver error whats wrong with it and will i be able to connect another controller to it?

Drivers are the software that control hardware such as keyboards, graphics cards and controllers connected to your computer. Sometimes they may need installing or updating.

Try that Remove device button and when it ask to delete the drivers too answer yes.

Unplug the controller for a few minutes and plug it back in, this will make the computer recognize it again and install the drivers again.
