  1. Xbox Wireless Controller doesn't work while is connected via bluetooth to pc.

Hello my Xbox Wireless Controller connects to pc via bluetooth but it doesn't work. For few weeks it worked, in "joy.cpl" it was called "bluetooth XINPUT compatible input device" and in properties it had Z axis and X, Y rotation. Now it has changed randomly
and it's called "Xbox Bluetooth Gamepad" and in properties it has only Z axis which is split on Z axis and Z rotation. It doesn't work in any game anymore. I tried installing new bluetooth drivers and i've updated controller via "xbox accesories", but nothing
    has changed.

    :)

  2. Controller connected via bluetooth not working on streaming

So I have the latest wireless controller with Bluetooth.

I tried to use it on my Windows 10 Xbox App, the controller is connected to PC via Bluetooth and it is working fine with the Xbox App, because I can navigate through the app with the controller without any problem.

However, it doesn't work with streaming. I connected to my Xbox though the app, but it prompted me with "No controller attached to the PC". If I connect the controller via USB, it works perfectly. Did I miss anything?

    Thanks,

    Eric

Chatpad doesnt work with v3 controller?

Just yesterday I got the new v3 controller with bluetooth. Ive been using xbone controllers with my PC for a while now and the chatpad has been an integral part of my setup. But something Ive noticed with my new v3 controller is that when it's connected
via bluetooth, the chatpad simply will not work. Works fine when connected via the wireless adapter, but the whole reason why i bought this controller was so that i could move exclusively to bluetooth connectivity. Anyone else have this problem?

Xbox Wireless Controller doesn't work while is connected via bluetooth to pc.

Hey LiteralCharles! Does it work with any app or is it unresponsive on all apps? Additionally, does the controller work on the PC if connected via cable? Post back and let me know!

    ?Hiii.

Since this is a recent post, and it appears there is a staff member, I'll follow this one Xbox Wireless Controller doesn't work while is connected via bluetooth to pc. ;)

As apparently lots of users, it's the same here ^^.

I was a bit hype to have a xbox gamepad with bluetooth on my computer, and had the opportunity to try the first one sold with bluetooth when a friend bought it. Unfortunately, problem with update. Done. Then with pairing. Ok, done. Then with keeping connectivity
more than 10 seconds ... He sent it back and keep using his xbox 360 controller with a dongle. So I didn't buy.

Time passed, I recently look for (french so maybe not freshest ones) informations, and read in different places about windows 10 update for this, controller's driver correction and else, and that it's running. Same on xbox one s controller page for bluetooth
on windows 10 computer (I followed all steps asked). So I ordered the new first tech series, understand at first try the update of the controller is already done, great. But it's the same afterwards. Difficulty to pair it etc. I tried to connect while playing
to see if this would keep the controller connected. Nope. And I tried on others machines more modern or not, but all fulfilling the requirements (windows 10, don't know for all if 64x or 32x, but all had bluetooth 4.0, drivers updated and kicking.

Thought, to answers your question, it looks like it always works fine with a cable ... I'm looking to not use. Bluetooth was the selling point.

The product is globally really cool. In fact it's actually the only one I found of good quality with all I wanted. But what the ****. If I had problems with several machines, it's impossible you walked by this fact. Don't launch something that doesn't completely
work even on one feature and saying it does !?

PC drivers/hardware support redirects here, to xbox english only support which may not be accessible to all users due to language .?.. Got the feeling Microsoft just sold some ****, don't want to change the informations displayed on the store, and play hide
and seek waiting for the problem to be treated by his techs. What's the need to unify compatibilities or to say so if it doesn't works since the beginning ??

I'm at the point I'd even ask "Do I re-buy a xbox 360 controller + dongle, or is there hope theses problems will be one day corrected with certainty and I don't send back the xbox one s controller ???" (because there's a time to be able doing it :/ )

It's been months since the launch. Just react !?

You'd better sell a windows computer controller specially designed for it.

Xbox series gamepad constantly disconnecting from bluetooth. PC Windows 11

Ok. So Fix bluetooth problems usually works for a while. But when I connect PC xbox controller via USB (older one, doesn't have bluetooth), the one which connected via Bluetooth keeps turning off every minute. And doesn't turn on itself, as it usually happens.

    Xbox controllers for windows 10

The Bluetooth controllers don't come with an adaptor, is has Bluetooth built in. The device it connects to need to have Bluetooth to work, if your PC doesn't then you need to get a Bluetooth adapter for the PC.

The wireless part of the controller works on a unique frequency only for the xbox controllers, so it won't work with WiFi, so for your PC to use the Xbox Wireless part, you would need the Xbox Wireless Adapter.

Connecting my XBOX to Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth.

the console does not even have any bluetooth hardware internally, the controllers do as they can connect via bluetooth to pc and wifi to the console.

the reason you see the console under devices on pc is due to it being on the same network.

the controller can be paired via bluetooth on pc but with limitations.

audio passthrough on the controller will not work via bluetooth

    wired connection supports audio passthrough

wireless connection with a microsoft wireless adapter for controller with support audio passthrough.

    Hi Diabelnyy,

Unfortunately it's not possible to connect your headset via Bluetooth, unless your headset or headphones have built in Bluetooth. If the headset's are Bluetooth capable, then you would need to set them up via your PC's Bluetooth settings, but I'm not sure
if you can have multiple devices connected via Bluetooth at the same time.

You would need to directly connect the headset to your PC via the 3.5 mm audio port. Connecting into the controller will not work unless you are playing on an Xbox One console.

The Xbox wireless controller adapter for PC will not work in trying to connect a headset via Bluetooth.

    Hi,

    I’m Killing Skids

The Answer Is Yes as Long As it has Bluetooth or wireless connection
    Hi,

That's not quite right. Apologies for quoting you.

The Xbox 360 controller uses a proprietary wireless technology, it's not Bluetooth and the old adaptors won't work with a modern controller like the Xbox One or Series X|S controllers.

Unlike Xbox 360 wireless controllers, Xbox One and Series controllers can also be connected via USB cable. Old Xbox One controllers use Micro USB, Series Controllers are USB C.

To use an Xbox One/ Series controller via wireless on a PC and get basic functionality, all you need to do is connect the controller via Bluetooth. If your PC doesn't have Bluetooth then you'll need to buy a Bluetooth USB dongle, they're very cheap, less than $10. I'm from the UK and I connect my Series X controller to my PC via BT dongle I purchased from Amazon for about £5.

For extra wireless features you'll need the Xbox One Wireless Adaptor for Windows 10. Unfortunately, the official Microsoft branded adaptors are now quite rare.
