Xbox Wireless Controller does not work

Hello, I have a problem with my Xbox Wireless Controller for PC. I want to connect it with the wireless receiver, but it does not work.

Usually, the Xbox Logo at the controller should start flashing after pressing the button, but it does not. It only flashes while holding the button, but the controller does not connect to the receiver.

I bought the controller two months ago, and first it worked most the time. But now it it doesn't work anymore.

The Controller works just fine, if I connect it with the cable, but I didn't bought the wireless version to use it with a cable.

I tried to reinstall the drivers of both, the controller and the receiver, but it changed nothing. Windows is up to date.

Is there any solution for this Problem?

Yes it does. And I have an xbox one. The controller works with it wireless or wired.

Do you mean a wireless xbox 360 controller you bought does not work?

Thank you all for the answers. Of course, I tried another pair of fresh batteries, but it seems, that one of them is broken, because now i have tested another pair, and the controller is working fine. So, the problem ist fixed. It could be so easy sometimes
