    Xbox Wireless compatibility issues


    Finally got my Razer Nari replacement and i'm having the exact same connection issues with my Series X. As soon as the controller is left to go into rest mode, the minute you try to restart it it disconnects from the console and just flashes as though its trying to pair. The only way to reconnect is to plug in controller, turn off console and hard reset. The controller will start up the console like nothing happened. New headset due to mic issues which i was hoping was causing the problem but obviously not.

    Apparently Steelseries 9x headset had virtually the same issue and they resolved it with an update but theres no response from Razer, once their products out the door they ignore/deny any responsibility so i'm not hopeful of a fix anytime soon from them. Looking around theres plenty of posts about it but nobody seems forthecoming with a fix.

    Anyone know if Microsoft intend doing anything about it? At this rate i'm just going to cut my losses and send back to Amazon and wait for a PS5. Dealing with Razer this past month has stressed me out so much, i'm not going through it all again with Microsoft.

    Hey there - I believe the issue is a clash between your Xbox and the Turtle Beach transmitter. The White Xbox Wireless G adapter does not run at 5Ghz, only at 2.4Ghz B or G. Since the Turtle Beach transmitter runs at the same frequency, that would cause
    your disconnection issues. The Black "Wireless N" adapter is compatible with 5Ghz Wireless N networks. :)

    That's the wireless headset, right? The wireless chat will not be compatible; the protocol is different between the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. No 360 wireless accessories will work with the One.

    Sorry to hear you're having issue with your controllers on 8.1.

    As Mister Cerb said, there is most likely a compatibility issue as the Wired and Wireless Xbox controllers as it is not compatible past Windows 7.

    Wireless headset

    The only wireless headphones/earbuds that are compatible with Xbox machines are ones with built-in compatibility. If you have wired earbuds, those can work. I've used cheap $20 skullcandies without any issues, with the mic working nicely as well.
