  1. Xbox Wireless Adapter was working fine, until it was bumped into.

My xbox wireless adapter was being used for a pair of headphones I have on my computer. I was using the port but then my dog bumped into the computer. The adapter was still working until it suddenly blinked off in some flashing lights and disconnected. The USB port works fine. However, I can no longer connect it to my computer through adding a device and the drivers are missing on my computer now. I have no idea how or why it happened. I dunno if my adapter is broken, or if this is merely a malfunction on my computer. The adapter looks fine but I have no idea if there is an issue with the internal hardware.

And yes, I tried turning my computer on and off multiple times to see if that would help. I hope the adapter is not broken. But if it is, is there a warranty I can use?

    :)

Xbox one controller not connecting to Xbox Wireless Adapter for win10

One more case here. My Xbox Wireless adapter worked fine on my gaming PC until yesterday. I tried ..... a lot of things, but nothing helped so far. It works on my Surface Pro, though.

Heres a final update for this problem. It was something to do with the router/wireless adapter setup. I disconnected the xbox from the wireless adapter and hardwired it to the router it worked fine. I switched ISPs and got a different router and now it connects
fine. Apparently ARRIS routers do not like Linksys adapters. Thanks for all the help

No that's fine so wired to the Tenda works not wireless, which wireless adapter are you using on the Xbox and which wireless security mode is in use on the Tenda (WEP, WPA, WPA2 ? )

Is it possible your adapter is the issue? Do you have another adapter to try out? If a wired connection works fine and other wireless devices work fine on the network I would think the adapter is the problem.
