    Xbox Wireless Adapter No Light

I’m sure it is probably simply broken, but my Xbox Wireless Adapter when plugged into my PC is showing under my devices but the light will not turn on at all even when holding the pair button.

    My wireless adaptor keeps blinking.

    Hello gamer,

If you have black adapter with two antennae (wireless N adapter) flashing green light this means the adapter is trying continuously to connect to a wireless network.

In case of flashing red light the adapter might be damaged and you should order a new adapter from the Xbox Online Service Center

Xbox 360 s won't recognize internal wifi adapter?

    Adapter Hardware Checks

To actively fix adapter-recognition problems, check the adapter power light. If the Xbox 360 does not recognize that a wireless adapter even exists, make sure that the power light on the wireless adapter is lit up. If not, taking a close look at the connections
should do the trick. Disconnect and then reconnect the adapter cable, and make sure the USB connection is solid before continuing.

Restoring the Xbox 360 wireless network adapter factory defaults is another direct solution for the adapter hardware. Sometimes, new network settings will not be saved by the wireless adapter. If this happens, a restoration to factory default of the network
adapter hardware is necessary. First navigate to the "System" section in the Xbox 360 Dashboard, then click on the option "Restore Default Settings." After you do so, the light on the wireless adapter will fluctuate between red and green, and then stay on
red once the process is complete. Then fill in the new network settings and password and save them to finish the process.

    Not Seeing Network

Hey Colt, Sorry to see that you are having some issues with your wireless adapter, but it appears that there is an issue with your wireless adapter and according to the troubleshooter a "Solid Red light" means the following which can be found here

    Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter Troubleshooter

    • A solid red light

Black with two antennae (wireless N adapter): The adapter is not recognized. Try plugging the adapter into a USB port on the front of your console.

Grey with one antenna (wireless G adapter): The adapter is ready for the next step:
      Configure and test your connection.

    XBox wireless problems

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with your Xbox 360 wireless adapter. A flashing green light indicates that the adapter is attempting to connect to a wireless network. When you try to connect to your wireless network, does the console prompt you to connect
an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, or does it recognize the adapter but display no wireless networks in the list?

    help

    HI DextrousUrvin8,

If you are receiving a solid red light on your wireless adapter, that means that it's not connected to an access point/wireless signal. At this time did you try to set up a wireless network connection through the Xbox?

Here is the support page with all the different light colors and what they mean. Of course it also despend on which adapter you have, the single antenna or the double antenna:
