  1. Xbox Wireless Adapter is not responding in any way, and is not found in device manager, not...

I use my Xbox Wireless Adapter to connect my Turtle Beach headset, but in this case the problem seems to not be any problem with the device I am using, and rather the adapter itself. Usually, when I click on "Everything else" in the "add bluetooth or other device", the adapter starts blinking, and after a little while, my headset pairs. It doesn't start blinking at all now; I can't get it to respond. After some research, it seemed problems could be solved one way or another in the device manager, however it doesn't even show up. I can't see if redownloading drivers or removing or adding it again will work because it isn't even there. It isn't responding to my computer in any way. It doesn't appear to be bent or broken, and I didn't have to force it into the port. What is wrong with it; will I have to get a new one, or is there a way to fix it?

    :)

Xbox Wireless Adapter does not work on laptop

    Hey there!

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to check to see if you tried this portion of the troubleshooting resource:

The adapter was working but isn't responding now
    .

If your adapter was installed and working, but it did not respond after waking your computer, this may be because your USB controller doesn't have Wake on Wireless turned on by default. This can typically be managed by the USB controller driver.

There are two solutions to this:

    1. While your Windows 10 device is running, unplug the device, and then plug it back in.
    2. If that didn't work, you can adjust the properties to enable Wake on Wireless. In the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows Properties window, make sure to select
Allow the device to wake the computer. To do so, follow these steps:
      1. Go to your Device Manager.
      2. Select Wireless Adapter for Windows in the Network adapters section.
      3. Click Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows to bring up the Properties window.
      4. Click the Power Management tab.
      5. Select Allow this device to wake the computer, and then select
        OK.

Try this out and let us know the results.

    Xbox controller disconnecting constantly?

If you’re having trouble with your Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows, it could be because the adapter drivers didn’t auto-install, the adapter stopped responding, your controller won’t connect or frequently
disconnects from your adapter, or because there’s interference between the controller and adapter.
Try fixing it with these troubleshooting solutions. Make sure your Windows 10 device is up to date, and try unplugging the device, restarting, and plugging it back in. Make sure your controller is in
range of the adapter. You can also move any objects between the controller and the adapter out of the way, and keep the adapter away from metal so there’s less interference. For more solutions, check out “Learn more” below.
